On the 7th October 2023, a powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 rocked the Herat province in Afghanistan, leaving behind a trail of destruction and despair. The earthquake is estimated to have claimed thousands of lives and left countless others injured and homeless. The level of devastation is staggering, with entire villages reduced to rubble, vital infrastructure severely damaged, and communities left in shock and despair.
The survivors are now left to grapple with the harsh realities of life without shelter, food, clean water, or medical assistance.
At Al Mustafa Canada we hope to alleviate the suffering of those in need with our Afghanistan Earthquake Appeal. Your donations will be used to provide immediate relief to the earthquake survivors, including food aid, emergency relief aid and medical Aid. We appeal to your generosity and compassion to unite and support our brothers and sisters in Afghanistan during their hour of need.
