3 million people in Bangladesh devastated by extreme flooding, which has left 1.6 million people without homes or shelter.
Devastating flooding in Bangladesh has caused over 90 people to lose their lives so far. As flooding continues and the real extent of the situation is revealed, it is likely this figure will continue to rise. In Sylhet and Sunamganj districts, entire villages have been submerged, leaving countless people stranded without essential food and water. The impact is extensive, with homes, schools, roads, hospitals and power supplies being severely damaged.
We need to act right now to support those impacted in Bangladesh. Delays in aid supplies or rescue efforts could be catastrophic.
Al Mustafa Welfare Trust is helping those impacted on the ground right now. We are providing essential aid in the form of food, shelter, sleeping bags and other key items to those impacted, especially mothers and babies.
We are also carrying out medical camps which serve 200 people each day, treating those injured and unwell.
Donate now to our Bangladesh Floods Response and help us provide those impacted by these devastating floods with the aid that can help save lives and protect communities from further devastation.
