The ongoing crisis has left thousands of Palestinians with life-altering injuries and no access to adequate medical care. Hospitals in Gaza have been devastated, lacking facilities, supplies, and equipment to treat severe cases. Over 100,000 Palestinians have fled to Egypt, with 15,000 more awaiting urgent medical attention near the border. Many cannot reach specialist care due to overcrowding and logistical challenges, leading to life-threatening delays. A dedicated hospital is vital to provide specialized surgical care and restore hope to those in desperate need.
With countless lives hanging in the balance, we are constructing a fully equipped field hospital near the Gaza border. This hospital will offer advanced trauma care, complex surgeries, and rehabilitation for refugees in dire need. The proximity to the border ensures timely treatment for those who cannot afford delays. In partnership with the Egypt Healthcare Authority, which operates internationally accredited facilities, we are leveraging expertise to deliver high-quality medical services. Completing this hospital on schedule is not just a goal—it is a humanitarian imperative.

The proposed location for the hospital project was selected for its strategic proximity to key transit points and infrastructure. Situated about 40 minutes from the tunnel connecting North Sinai to the rest of Egypt and 30 minutes from Suez, this location ensures rapid access for patients coming from Gaza.
The hospital is equipped to provide immediate medical services to critically-ill patients, who can then be transferred within 25min to the nearest medical complex. Despite its remote location, the site also benefits from essential utilities, including electricity, water, and sewage, and is well-connected to major routes for efficient patient transportation in either direction. This positioning allows for quick response times and supports comprehensive care for refugees in need.
The Egypt Healthcare Authority (EHA) is an independent public organization that was established in 2018 to provide high-quality public healthcare services in Egypt. The EHA oversees health services in public hospitals, implements healthcare reforms, and acts as a health regulator. Their large range of facilities includes 52 hospitals, family medicine units, and centres that meet international standards and are equipped with the latest technologies. The EHA’s facilities have also been accredited by international institutions such as JCI, GGHH, and GAHAR.
